WestMUN is a nonprofit, educational organization dedicated to providing an excellent, low-cost simulation of the United Nations. We combine specific educational goals with a focus on critical international issues while providing a relaxed, inviting environment. Participating students will engage in-depth with important current issues in world affairs and develop a thorough understanding of the role the UN plays in international politics. Also, students will develop skills in research, public speaking, and diplomacy, and gain experience in Model UN rules of debate. This conference is also a great way to prepare for larger Model UN conferences.
